About Nace Phlaux

Nace Phlaux was born in October 1982 in Philadelphia, PA and raised in the Lower Bucks County suburbs. Adopted by a trucker and a dispatcher, he enjoyed a fine blue-collar Catholic upbringing, including thirteen years of private schooling. Thankfully, that was long after the days of ruler-packing nuns. At the age of only twenty months old, he was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic, but the condition is currently under control. The occasional doughnut has been known to pass his lips, but he continues to refer to non-diabetics as “normies.”

Mr. Phlaux received his Bachelor of Arts degree in professional writing at Kutztown University, originally going to the school to get a degree in secondary education with a focus in English before realizing he should in no part be anywhere near a position that instills any sort of values or opinions to youths. Afterwards, he worked for a number of years in pharmaceutical research before deciding on something a little less stressful (read: not federally regulated) and traversed the publishing industry within the Philadelphia area. He currently lives outside the Philly region.

Nace is working on a number of short stories and on starting his own web design company dedicated primarily to fellow writers. For more information, feel free to contact him through the Contact page.
